Research Use Only
All Products sold by Glacix Research Water, including bacteriostatic water, are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research purposes only. By completing a purchase, you expressly represent and warrant that:
- You are a qualified researcher, scientist, or licensed professional with a legitimate research purpose.
- You are at least 21 years of age.
- The Products will not be used for human or animal consumption, injection, diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical purposes.
- The Products will not be used to reconstitute, dilute, or prepare any substance intended for administration to humans or animals.
- The Products will not be used as food additives, drugs, cosmetics, or household chemicals.
- You will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the purchase, handling, storage, and use of the Products.
Corporate Structure
Glacix Research Water is a legally independent limited liability company. Glacix maintains its own EIN, legal structure, and operational independence.
Product Information & Quality
Glacix is committed to providing high-quality research-grade water products. Our bacteriostatic water is prepared with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative and is intended solely as a laboratory reagent and reconstitution solvent for research applications. All products are:
- Prepared under research-grade quality standards.
- Sterile-filtered and subject to third-party certificate of analysis (COA) testing where applicable.
- Labeled with lot numbers and relevant product information.
- Stored and shipped under conditions designed to maintain integrity.
Products are sold “as is” for research purposes. Glacix makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for any particular research purpose, and makes no representation that the Products are sterile pharmaceutical products or suitable for any clinical or injectable use.
Orders, Pricing & Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance by Glacix. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders that appear to be placed for non-research purposes or in violation of these Terms.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include shipping or applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Orders are placed on a pay-by-invoice basis. After you place an order, Glacix issues an invoice for the order total, and payment in full is required before the order ships. Glacix may make additional payment methods available in the future (for example, major credit cards or cryptocurrency); the payment methods displayed at checkout at the time of your order are the methods accepted for that order. All payments are handled through secure, encrypted channels.
Shipping & Delivery
Glacix ships to all 50 U.S. states. Orders placed before 12:00 PM MST Monday through Friday are typically processed the same business day. Delivery times vary by shipping method selected at checkout.
International orders are NOT accepted. The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all import laws, regulations, and customs requirements in their jurisdiction. Glacix bears no liability for orders seized, delayed, or refused by customs authorities.
Risk of loss and title to Products passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier. Glacix is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or delivery failures once a package has been tendered to the carrier.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the research-grade nature of our products, Glacix does not accept returns of opened or used items. Refunds or replacements may be issued in the following circumstances:
- Products arrive visibly damaged — photo documentation required within 48 hours of delivery.
- Incorrect items were shipped due to our error.
- Orders are not delivered despite carrier confirmation of delivery.
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. Glacix reserves the right to deny requests that do not meet the above criteria. Please note: Due to the obligations of the payment gateways, store credit will be added in the place of a refund.
Regulatory Compliance
Glacix operates as a research-use-only (RUO) supplier. Our bacteriostatic water is supplied as a laboratory reagent and is not a compounded drug, not a sterile pharmaceutical product, and not subject to FDA 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy regulations when sold for research purposes. Buyer is solely responsible for:
- Determining the legality of purchasing and possessing our products in their jurisdiction.
- Obtaining any required licenses, permits, or institutional approvals before purchase.
- Compliance with FDA, state pharmacy boards, and any other applicable regulatory bodies.
- Safe handling, storage, and disposal of all Products in accordance with applicable regulations.
Limitation of Liability
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glacix, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your misuse of any Product.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Any third-party claim arising from your purchase or use of our Products.
Intellectual Property
All content on glacixwater.com, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product descriptions, and images, is the property of Glacix Research Water or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent from Glacix.
Privacy
Your use of glacixwater.com is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, conducted in Maricopa County, Arizona. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
Changes to Terms
Glacix reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to glacixwater.com. Your continued use of our website or placement of orders after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Glacix with respect to your purchase and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings.
